Welcome Back to Dr. T and We RUFF DC's Walking Training Program!
This is Week 2 of Training Tuesdays to get you and your doggies ready for SeeSpotRace’s GlowDogGlow 5K this May! Also, if you missed Week 1 of Training Tuesdays, you can catch up here!
If you and your pooch are currently used to leash walking on average of 20-30 minutes a day 4-5 times a week, this is the plan for you! Please remember to feed your dog their normal scheduled meal 90 minutes or more prior to exercise. It is never a good idea for a dog to exercise on a full stomach.
Note: Before starting any training program, Dr. T recommends that your pooch get checked out by their veterinarian to make sure they are ready to run!
